Vinyl floor required maintenance
- Avoid rubber contact.
- Sweep or vacuum regularly. Do not use the beater bar on your vacuum. Do not use highly abrasive scrubbing tools.
- Use non-staining mats on your floors; do not use rubber-backed, latex-backed, or coco fiber mats on your floor, as they may stain or damage the surface. Use non staining mats instead.
- Please note that soap or detergent products are not recommended for vinyl floors as they will leave a dull film on the surface. Use instead products specifically made for vinyl floors. Be careful, vinyl floors can be slippery when wet.
- Use doormats outside each entrance to your home to prevent dirt, sand, grit, oil, asphalt and driveway sealer from being tracked onto your floor. Avoid using any rubber lined mats.
- Avoid walking and placing any furniture on installed floors. Wait 24 hours after installation.
